Flatlock machine operator • Custer County, Colorado

Great opportunity: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Custer County, Colorado. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams We offer $29 per hour plus benefits.
