Moulder wanted in Hardin County

Join our team: we are hiring a moulder in Hardin County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant Requirements: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
