Sheet metal press operator — Frederick County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Frederick County, Virginia. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred The role involves: • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings Performance bonus on top of base pay.
