Now hiring: bricklayer (Missouri)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a bricklayer in Macon County, Missouri. The job is on a scaffolded high-rise site. Requirements: • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one Day-to-day duties: • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge Six days a week, one day off.
