Immediate opening: rebar installer (New Mexico)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a rebar installer in Luna County, New Mexico. You will be based at a precast concrete yard. The role involves: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour You should have: • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements 2+ years on the tools preferred.
