Now hiring: we are hiring a tyre technician in Lane County, Kansas. The job is at a roadside mobile fitting unit. Ideal candidate: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Knowledge of correct torque settings and TPMS resets • Awareness of workshop health and safety Day-to-day duties: • Handle truck and bus tyres, including split-rim assemblies • Inflate tyres to the manufacturer's recommended PSI, including nitrogen fills • Carry out wheel alignment and adjust camber and toe • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Check tread depth with a depth gauge and spot uneven wear At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
