Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Oldham County, Texas. The role involves set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; respond to entrapment call-outs and release trapped passengers; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy. Requirements: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 5+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $220 per day, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
