Horizontal milling machine operator — Anoka County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Anoka County, Minnesota. You will be based in a CNC machining unit. The role involves: • Set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits.
