Great opportunity: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Bergen County, New Jersey. Ideal candidate: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. 5+ years on the tools preferred.
