Lathe programmer-operator • Pulaski County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Pulaski County, Virginia. You will work at a busy machine shop. On a typical shift you will watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet. What we are looking for: • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
