CO2 welder — Cheyenne County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Cheyenne County, Nebraska. You will work in a heavy engineering unit. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances The role involves: • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
