Brick and block layer — Ife East

Now hiring: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Ife East, Osun State. You will work at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently The role involves: • Raking out and tooling the joints to a struck or bucket-handle finish • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Laying bricks to the line, level and plumb • Bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings Full-time with occasional weekends.
