Flatlock machine operator wanted in Shelby County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Shelby County, Alabama. You will work on an export house sewing floor. Day to day you will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Requirements: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
