We are recruiting: we are hiring a core maker in Aninri, Enugu State. You will be based at an aluminium die-casting plant. Ideal candidate: • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry The role involves mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
