Dough maker — Early County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a dough maker in Early County, Georgia. You will work at a busy bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
