Now hiring: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Ungogo, Kano State. The role involves check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking. You should have: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level Full-time with occasional weekends.
