Backhoe loader operator — Rains County

Now hiring: we are hiring a backhoe loader operator in Rains County, Texas. You will work at a road-building project. Day to day you will keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; load and unload the machine on and off the low-loader safely; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift. Ideal candidate: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $23 per hour, based on your experience. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
