Furnace operator • Chaffee County, Colorado

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a furnace operator in Chaffee County, Colorado. On a typical shift you will assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
