Overlocker operator — Minnehaha County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Minnehaha County, South Dakota. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams The role involves match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Contact us to fix an interview.
