Immediate opening: lathe operator (Texas)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lathe operator in Maverick County, Texas. You will be based at a busy manufacturing plant. On a typical shift you will top up coolant, lubricant and hydraulic oil levels; record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet; segregate finished parts into bins and label the batches; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
