Pressman — Bulloch County

Now hiring: we are hiring a pressman in Bulloch County, Georgia. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. The role involves: • Spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts • Give each garment a final press before packing • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure Ideal candidate: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Full-time with occasional weekends.
