Join our team: argon welder (Delta State)

We are recruiting: we are hiring an argon welder in Ethiope East, Delta State. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. The role involves: • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings ₦240,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
