Scaffolding supervisor — Rensselaer County

Now hiring: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Rensselaer County, New York. You will work on an industrial refinery shutdown. Day to day you will hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform; set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground; inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards. What we are looking for: • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Reliable, punctual and able to work in a gang Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
