Now hiring: we are hiring a power press operator in Long County, Georgia. You will be based in a sheet metal stamping unit. On the job you will handle: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components Ideal candidate: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 2+ years on the tools preferred.
