Head baker — Los Angeles County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a head baker in Los Angeles County, California. You will work at a cake shop. The role involves: • Load and unload the deck oven with a peel • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity What we are looking for: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics Part-time with flexible hours.
