Die-casting operator — Nguru

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Nguru, Yobe State. The job is in a non-ferrous casting shop. The role involves make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
