Die-casting operator — Box Butte County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Box Butte County, Nebraska. The role involves: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes Requirements: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry 5+ years on the tools preferred.
