Machine operator (earthworks) — Jackson County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Jackson County, North Carolina. You will swap buckets and attachments — rock breaker, grab, ripper, auger; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; excavate trenches for water, sewer and cable runs; clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport. What we are looking for: • Valid CPCS/NPORS card or local heavy-equipment licence • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
