Press operator — Clare County

Now hiring: we are hiring a press operator in Clare County, Michigan. Your main tasks: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely You should have: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Full-time, day shift.
