Power float operator wanted in Vernon County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a power float operator in Vernon County, Wisconsin. You will be based at an infrastructure site. On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing • Patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Able to read structural drawings and bar bending schedules Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
