Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welder in Albasu, Kano State. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. ₦230,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
