Machine operator (earthworks) — Solano County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Solano County, California. Day-to-day duties: • Inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up • Dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly Requirements: • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. $3,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
