Restaurant steward — Maru

Immediate opening: we are hiring a restaurant steward in Maru, Zamfara State. You will work in a five-star hotel. What we are looking for: • Ability to carry loaded trays and stay on your feet for long shifts • Ability to work fast under pressure during peak service • Good knowledge of the menu, ingredients and beverages Day to day you will punch orders through to the kitchen as a KOT (kitchen order ticket); upsell starters, desserts and beverages; take food and drink orders on the POS terminal or order pad; explain the day's specials and recommend dishes; handle guest complaints and escalate to the captain or manager; lay table covers with cutlery, napkins, glassware and crockery.
