Structural MIG welder — Red River Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Red River Parish, Louisiana. The job is at an automobile body shop. You will change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. You should have: • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Part-time with flexible hours.
