Tower crane operator — Grant County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Grant County, Indiana. You will be based on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Strong attention to safety and load limits • Physically fit to climb ladders and work long shifts On a typical shift you will grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block; watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; help set out the lift plan and barrier off the exclusion zone. 1+ years on the tools preferred.
