Immediate opening: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Torfaen County Borough, Wales. The job is on a residential construction site. The role involves fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out the tile layout and snap reference lines with a chalk line; fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system. Ideal candidate: • Own a basic set of tiling tools (trowels, spacers, levels) • Work neatly with minimal tile wastage • Skilled with a wet saw, angle grinder and manual cutter Part-time with flexible hours.
