Immediate opening: refrigeration installation technician (Indiana)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Kosciusko County, Indiana. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Service split AC units and VRF systems • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Requirements: • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Full-time with occasional weekends. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $20 per hour, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
