Shakeout operator wanted in Scott County

Join our team: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Scott County, Missouri. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Day-to-day duties: • Tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges Ideal candidate: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Basic grinding and fettling skills At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
