Panel welder — Simpson County

Now hiring: we are hiring a panel welder in Simpson County, Mississippi. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. The role involves weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; read fabrication drawings and weld symbols; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator. What we are looking for: • Able to grind, fit-up and tack independently • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Full-time with occasional weekends.
