Concrete pump mate — Butler County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Butler County, Pennsylvania. Your main tasks: • Mix concrete to the specified grade (M15, M20, M25) by hand or in a mixer • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing You should have: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long hours on your feet • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
