Fabricator-welder • Rogo, Kano State

Now hiring: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Rogo, Kano State. You will work in a food and dairy equipment factory. You should have: • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Own basic hand tools and PPE The role involves inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run. At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
