Site safety steward — Anglesey

Now hiring: we are hiring a site safety steward in Anglesey, Wales. You will be based in a chemical processing unit. Ideal candidate: • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • Strong record-keeping and incident-reporting skills • Sound knowledge of local OSH and factory act regulations Your main tasks: • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates We offer £1,750 per month plus benefits.
