Sand plant operator wanted in Middlesex County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Middlesex County, Virginia. You will work at a busy iron foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture Requirements: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Basic grinding and fettling skills Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
