Floor screeder — Catahoula Parish

We are recruiting: we are hiring a floor screeder in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will work in a residential housing project. Day to day you will discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish. You should have: • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 6+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
