Urgent requirement: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Clark County, Kentucky. Requirements: • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size Meals and transport allowance provided.
