Formwork joiner — Scott County

Now hiring: we are hiring a formwork joiner in Scott County, Illinois. You will be based at a reinforced concrete building site. Day to day you will seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs. You should have: • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off.
