Sewing machine operator • Ifedore, Ondo State

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Ifedore, Ondo State. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Day-to-day duties: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
