Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Clay County, Minnesota. Requirements: • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg Day-to-day duties: • Run first-off inspection and sign off the part • Measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers • Deburr and chamfer machined parts by hand • Watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes • Run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles Rotating shifts.
