Rebar foreman — Tyrrell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar foreman in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
