Formwork joiner • St. Helens, England

We are recruiting: we are hiring a formwork joiner in St. Helens, England. The job is at a precast concrete yard. Day to day you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Requirements: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to read formwork and structural drawings • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Part-time with flexible hours.
